Terrain-based mechanical bull riders have been in the game for quite some time now, but now they’re getting a real look in Terraria.
The developers are planning to introduce the feature sometime this year, and the release date for that is still a bit fuzzy, but we can probably expect to see it in March.
In terms of the mechanics of the new mechanical bull, the developers are hoping to take advantage of the feedback they’ve received on the original game and apply them to Terraria’s new ride.
“We wanted to get rid of the ‘slippery’ aspect of the ride, so we’re working on adding a new effect to the ride,” a developer named Jannes said.
“A new ride mechanic that we can’t reveal at the moment.
But we’ll keep you updated when we have more info.”
TerraForge’s first game, Terraria, was the first in the series to have an actual mechanical ride.
The game had a variety of different rides and mechanics, including a “ball” ride, a “scooter” ride and a “trampoline” ride.
Terraria 2 added a new mechanical ride, and that new ride is being referred to as the “Mining Machine”.
It’s a little bit of a weird ride to describe, but it does give you a new experience that’s going to feel a lot different to playing the original.
We’re hoping that mechanical bulls will have a similar feeling.
“With our new ride mechanics, the ride will have many different characteristics and animations that can be different for each ride, but that is all part of the game,” Jannas said.
We’ll be sure to tell you all about it soon.
